On a lark, I order two strings of these 12 VDC LED sort-of Christmas lights. I ordered one string of blue for the porch (really easy on Night Adapted Eyes and one string of white.
Wow! Really neat. Low current (i.e.: extremely low power consumption) and just plain handy. I'm just guessing but I figure two strings would run for 6 weeks on a fully charged car battery.
Nice for those "loss of electricity days/nights" and a lot cheaper than the camping/emergency lighting systems. I think it is a reasonable purchase. Best Regards, - The Army Aviator

Note from Inirgee: The 12v lights would not likely last "6 weeks" on a car battery. Certainly a long time, though. Check out Linda's comment below.

Thanks for the quick reply.  Sure enough- when I got home last night the box was there waiting for me.  Sorry if I came off as impatient, but the lights are going into a stage show that I am designing for and we start our "tech" rehearsals soon.  The timing ended up being great, since we were able to wire the lights up today and will have everything ready to go by the weekend.  Thanks again for prompt shipping and a prompt reply.

While visiting Victoria, B.C. during the Christmas season of 2004, I noticed the Christmas lights on almost all of Christmas trees at the "Festival of Trees" in the Empress Hotel had a different sort of light or "glow." I found the lights to be LED's.

In searching the web, I found Inirgee.com and ordered a dozen strings of the 5 colored mini-lights. This Christmas was the first time I used them to decorate both outside the house and our Christmas tree. I have not stopped receiving praise and questions regarding the LED lights.

ALL of my neighbors have said they are switching to Christmas LED's....if they can find them. I have directed them to Inirgee's web site.

The best part of this holiday season was when I received me electrical bill. A thirty-eight dollar savings over last year.

Dear Tom,
Just a follow-up to this order of lights. I was able to wire up the Christmas tree at the cemetery with 3 strings of [12 volt LED] lights on one car battery.
Each charge lasts 17 days, 24 hours each day! I am amazed!

YOU CAN SEE THE WAY THE LIGHTS SHOW OFF THE CRYSTAL.  I'VE USED THE WHITE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS FOR YEARS BUT NEVER HAD THE SPARKLE I HAVE WITH YOUR LIGHTS.  NOW MY ONLY PROBLEM WILL BE CLEANING ALL OF THE CRYSTAL.  WHEN I HAD THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS IN THE WALL UNIT, THEY WOULD LAST FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS.  WHEN THEY BURNED OUT, I TOOK EVERYTHING APART AND CLEANED IT.  I WONDER WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE IF I DON'T CLEAN IT FOR 20 YEARS ???  JUST KIDDING. Hi Liana

Thanks for the diffusers and card. They arrived a few days ago, and having spent more time sitting on the floor in the dark and pointing circuit boards with LED's in random locations, have proved quite exciting. Filters that I thought might not be useful actually may well be, namely the beam stretching ones, so the sample pack has proved very useful. Now I need to design units to hold the led's and filters :)

Tom,  I used the [12 volt lights] display in Colorado at my front gate.  I used half, 225 bulbs, on a 18' pine tree.  They lights gave off a blue hue that looked beautiful in the snow.  I put the deep cycle battery in a plastic box and had a 18" by 24" solar charger.  It ran 24 hours because I do not have a photo cell.  The first night was great...second night about 80 percent and third 60
 percent.  We did not have a lot of sun..mostly snow.  I figure I can get a week if we had some sun and a photo cell for night use only.  It was beautiful, even at 60 percent.  I would recommend them and your company. Take Care,  Stan
 
Thank you, Tom for your quick response!!  :)   The order is not a rush at all.  The lights are for my daughter's July '09 wedding reception to be used to illuminate her centerpieces which are "crystal trees".
   
I think I should order 1 to see if they will truly illuminate each tree.  We need to place them (unbound in a clump - facing "up" in the center of each tree to accent the crystals - see attached)  :)  If they work the way we need them to - I will order the other 14!    I'll go to the website now and place the order!  Thanks again!
